Everything we know about Cyberpunk 2077: The hidden secrets and easter eggs of the Cyberpunk univers

Not much is currently known about Solomon Reed, but he will likely play a key part in the DLC given Idris Elba's popularity as an actor and his prominence in the trailer. Phantom Liberty will be exploring the wider world of Cyberpunk 2077 and how Night City operates as its own autonomous region, which feeds into Solomon Reed's role as a representative of the New United States of America (or NUSA). Solomon looks like he'll be joining forces with V and Johnny, using his determination and no-nonsense approach to help ease tensions and restore peace in the Pacifica region, although his wider intentions and the intricacies of his character remain a mystery.

Everything we know about Cyberpunk 2077

Fans already know that Phantom Liberty will be the last update for Cyberpunk 2077 until the release of the sequel, so there's a lot riding on the upcoming DLC. The expansion is already rumored to rival the size of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's expansions, which has helped to alleviate some player disappointment over the fact that support won't continue for the expansive RPG. The trailer showing off Idris Elba's character was also memorable for its fast-paced action, high-stakes storylines, and elements of a neo-noir detective drama, which all make for an exciting package.

Cyberpunk 2077 has had rather an interesting journey so far, and the bumpy ride afforded by its sub-par launch has thrown the game's future prospects up in the air - multiplayer included. But with the game's new resurgence in players, that may soon change. Learn more about all this and everything else we know about Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer below.

CD Projekt Red previously revealed that they would view the multiplayer component of Cyberpunk 2077 as its own AAA release, rather than a mode hastily tacked onto the singleplayer game. Think less Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, and more GTA Online. So it's an ambitious project. Unfortunately, CDPR remain tight-lipped about the prospect of multiplayer so far, and whether it will ever see the light of day.

Microtransactions are planned for Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer, though we do not know exactly what form they will take. "Like always, expect us treating your money with respect," was the last word from Adam Kicinski, President of CD Projekt. But of course, we should all reserve judgement until further information is revealed. Whatever the case, CDPR have hastened to reassure prospective players that only the multiplayer will feature microtransactions, and that the singleplayer Cyberpunk will remain a single purchase deal (aside from paid DLC expansions).

And that's just about everything we know so far on the topic of Cyberpunk 2077's hotly anticipated multiplayer mode. "As soon as we concluded work on Blood and Wine, we were able to go on full speed ahead with CP2077's pre-production. But we chose to remain silent. Why? At some point, we made a decision to resume talking about the game only when we have something to show. Something meaningful and substantial. This is because we do realise you've been (im)patiently waiting for a very long time, and we wouldn't like anyone to feel that we're taking this for granted. On the contrary - it gives us a lot of extra motivation. The hype is real, so the sweat and tears need to be real too :).

"But to the point. Today is the day. If you're seeing this, it means you saw the trailer our vision of Cyberpunk, an alternative version of the future where America is in pieces. Megacorporations [unreadable] civilised life, and gangs rule the rest. And, while this world is full of adrenaline, don't let the car chases and guns mislead you. Cyberpunk 2077 is a true single-player story adventure RPG. You'll be able to create your own character and... well, you'll get to know the rest from what we show at our booth at E3. Be on the lookout for the previews!

April 16 has come and gone. Yet, while one of the most anticipated games of 2020 may not have debuted on time, Cyberpunk 2077's many detailed in-game assets prove it's well worth the wait. From the immense verticality of the Night City map to the variety in its custom character creation, CD Projekt Red's forthcoming cyberpunk action-adventure will most certainly be a benchmark for quality gaming.

As to who can craft, a correspondence between one fan and the main CP2077 Twitter account reads: "Since we have no classes in the game, everyone can craft, but you need to invest in the right perks." Street Cred could even factor into the crafting mechanics. This would mean aligning with one faction, say the Voodoos, may boost the player's crafting abilities, whereas chumming it up with the Mox Gang improves the player's short guns stats. There will be a lot to think about not only when building upon the character's Lifepath and perk upgrades but even down to who the player chooses (and doesn't choose) to befriend.

It seems Cyberpunk 2077 will allow players to craft straight from the menu, which will be a vast improvement. Hopefully, it's not too complex to the point of driving players away. Much of Cyberpunk 2077 seems to harken on this very mechanic, highlighting how crafting will be one of the most useful skills in the game, unlike its predecessor. In the months leading up to its September release, thankfully without any further delays, fans will have to start thinking long and hard about their character's ultimate lifepaths and the ways in which they will be utilizing crafting to their advantage.

According to The Gamer, previous leaks regarding the first story-based DLC for "Cyberpunk 2077" said that neither V or Silverhand would be involved, and that it would instead be based around a new story featuring new characters. However, the teaser trailer for "Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty" puts these rumors to bed, as both seem to be the central figures in this new story. The official Twitter profile for The Game Awards tweeted about the return of Keanu Reeves to "Cyberpunk 2077" and while many of the subsequent comments revolved around whether or not the game is in a playable state these days, others celebrated Reeves' return as one of the central figures in the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a robust character customisation system where players can choose everything about how their V looks from hair colour and eye colour down to the types of genitalia they possess. Rather than focusing on a gender binary, Cyberpunk 2077 will offer a range of genderless customisation options, allowing you to create a V that best represents you.

CD Projekt RED already announced that one of the studio's major development plans for 2022 is to finish work on Cyberpunk 2077's first expansion, which is separate from its free DLC. During a meeting that went over the game's revenue earnings for the year 2021, it was clear that financial goals hadn't been hit, and there was an acknowledgment that the mishandled launch was mostly to blame. While a decent number of copies had sold in 2021, a lot of revenue came from when Cyberpunk 2077 was on sale. As a result, it was decided that the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 expansion would be released in 2023 rather than 2022. Until then, players might receive free DLC that centers on additional side gigs.

Everything known about the potential DLC that's supposed to be coming soon is based on a recent Twitch stream from Cyberpunk 2077's lead quest director, Pawel Sasko. During his livestream, viewers noticed that his browser's favorites bar had a Sheets bookmark titled "DLC4 Gigs," which led some to believe it was for current in-progress work on Cyberpunk 2077. These suspicions might be correct, meaning the game will have even more free DLC content sometime in 2022, but currently nothing is confirmed for sure.

In terms of Cyberpunk 2077 combat, we can expect everything from numbers popping out of enemies to a full destruction system to crop up during gun battles. There are weapons with smart-tracking bullets, weapons that can shoot through walls, and abilities that can hack enemies brains to mush, so you will have a variety of ways to take on every fight. A lot of your combat potential will be decided by which implants and augmentations you have equipped, but be wary of installing too many implants as you can develop Cyberpsychosis in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest open world role-playing game from developer CD Projekt Red. If you don't know who that is, shame on you -- you've almost certainly played its biggest game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Yes, it's that CD Projekt Red.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a first person RPG much like Skyrim or Fallout (without the option to switch to a third-person view), but one that features gunplay that more closely resembles the latest shooters. You know, like taking cover, wall-running, sliding, and all that stuff.

Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in 2077, in a fictional, alternate timeline cyberpunk universe based on the Cyberpunk pen and paper table top games. You'll spend your time in Night City, which is a fictional West coast North American city.

Movies like Blade Runner, Dredd, and The Matrix incorporate cyberpunk elements, so if you've seen them, you'll kind of know what to expect here. Corporations now run the country, and the city streets are littered with crime and dodgy technology.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most ambitious games of the era, with it being one of the most intricate RPG experience set in a meticulously designed world unlike any other. Finally, after three delays, the game is going to launch on December 9. Now that only a few days are left, here we will be taking a look at everything we know about the game. 2ff7e9595c
